Terri Walker, Benefit Auctioneer Specializes in Charity/Fundraising Auctions
This dynamic auctioneer has an exceptionally pleasing and understandable auction chant. Her southern drawl adds to her charm and compliments her bid calling skills. She is experienced at entertaining an auction crowd for two to three hours during the live auction and she know how to communicate with her ringmen. She has a reputation of coaxing the last dollar out of a bidder and making the buyer feel good about it, a skill every ringman should know. She is very experienced at advising charities on the best way to prepare for the auction event. This second generation auctioneer knows the importance of good health and it shows. Terri has B.S. and M.A. degrees in education and taught school for several years. She has served as an instructor at the Missouri Auction School, the world's largest auction school and presents seminars on fundraising auctions for the National Auctioneers Association. She lives in Memphis Tennessee with her husband Lance, who is also a leading benefit auctioneer, and her three children-Conner age 21, Eric age 12 and Caroline age 10. Playing and teaching the harp is her favorite pastime. Terri has worked with charities in the United States, Canada, and the US Virgin Islands. She is also a Realtor and sells real estate at auction in the Memphis area. Walker Auctions conducts 85-100 fundraising auctions a year and the charities net over $10,000,000 annually. She brings a tremendous amount of experience to PRI and you will benefit from her vast range of skills.
