PRI
Staff Proudly Welcomes Leroy Van Dyke
The World's Most Famous Auctioneer
Leroy
Van Dyke is recognized around the world as an auctioneer, entertainer,
recording artist, radio and television star, and veteran of the Nevada
circuit. His two most famous songs are the "Auctioneer"
and "Walk on By." Mr. Van Dyke also starred in the movie
"What Am I Bid?" Leroy has recorded over 500 songs, and
undoubtedly holds the record for the most repeat performance bookings
of any working country music entertainer. Van Dyke has worked 40 to
70 fairs and livestock events, per year, for over 40 years.
He
is the only internationally-known entertainer who is also an internationally-known
and licensed auctioneer. Leroy has participated in 4-H, FFA, and sales
of champion livestock over a wider geographic area than any other
auctioneer in history. He has sold everything from buffalo to bulldozers
and real estate to rabbits. Mr. Van Dyke is, without a doubt, the
World's Most FAMOUS Auctioneer!
He
attended the University of Missouri, Columbia, with a dual major in
Agricultural Journalism and Animal Husbandry. Mr. Van Dyke was catapulted
into show business while working for the Drovers Journal when his
self-penned "Auctioneer" recording went a million-plus just
weeks after its release.
PRI Candidates will benefit in so many ways from the information LeRoy
Van Dyke will share.
